The three famous Scientists namely John Bardeen, Brattain Walter, William Shocklys revolutionized the field of elctronics by inventing the TRANSISTOR.
The transistor is on the list of IEEE milestones in electronics, and the inventors were jointly awarded the 1956 Nobel prize in physics for their achievement. "Signal is transfered through different resistance under system control signal is called Transistor" . The first ever transistor is a point contact transistor i.e invented in bell labs
Today we have BJT(bipolar junction transistor), FET(field effect transistor), MOSFET(metal oxide field effect transistor), IGBT(insulated gate bipolar transistor) , all these are possible because of above three mentioned scientists.
